ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to investigate the enrollment of pupils of Eldama Ravine nursery school in Kolbatek district, Kenya. The specific objectives of the study were to determine the enrollment of pupils in regards to, introduction of free primary education, poverty, lack of government regulation, lack of a standardized curriculum and poor health and nutrition.
