ABSTRACT A qualitative study was carried out in Kabiemit educational zone to assess the roles of Head teachers in managing schools and learner's performance. The following objectives guided the study; to establish the relationship between coordination and academic performance; to find out the influence of the headmasters ability to organize; to establish whether provision of growth and development has any impact on performance.
