ABSTRACTThe focus of the research is on foreign debt and Economic growth prospects of the Nigeria Economy, using a time scope 1985-2014. The objectives of the study include examining the extent to which external debt affect Gross Domestic Product in Nigeria; to assess the relationship between gross domestic product and government expenditure in Nigeria amongst others.
