Abstract
ABSTRACTThis study reviewed empirically commercial banks investment activities and its impact on the economic growth in Nigeria. The main objectives of the study were to ascertain the functions and investment activities of commercial banks in the Nigerian financial system. Data was collected from CBN statistical bulletin while regression analysis was applied. Findings revealed that R2 is 6.58% which shows that the variables are poorly fitted and banks investment in the Nigerian economy is below par.
