ABSTRACTThis study examined the impact of oil prices on the Nigerian economy. In light of the empirical review and other discussions, a number of questions arose as to whether there is relationship between oil prices, the Nigerian economy proxied by Gross Domestic Product (GDP), exchange rate, fixed gross capital formation, inflation rate as well as lending rate.
