Abstract
ABSTRACT Vegetables are the edible parts of plant that are consumed wholly or in parts, raw or cooked as part of main dish or salad. A vegetable includes leaves, stems, roots, flowers, seed, fruits, bulbs, tubers and fungi (Uzo, 1999).
