ABSTRACT The study is a descriptive survey designed to examine the roles of motivation and job satisfaction in improving performance of financial institution. A total of one hundred and ten respondents were selected from First Bank of Nigeria Abuja FCT to form a sample size. A test and retest method was used to determine the reliability of the questionnaire items.
