Abstract
The aim of this project was to restore and renovate one phase, one horse power centrifugal pump to its normal operating condition for future practical purposes. The work started with fault finding/trouble shooting, a method of closing the discharge stop valve, and first priming the pump before running it was adopted. However, after tighting all nuts and bolts, closing the discharge stop value and priming the pump, the pump still could not run.
