BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY The use of motorcycle has become popular due to the fact that it is cheap, an easier means of transport and efficient in mitigating traffic jam delays (Phillipo et al., 2010). Despite these benefits, motorcycle and bicycle riders are at an increased risk of being involved in a crash because they often share the traffic space with fast moving cars, buses, and trucks.
