ABSTRACT In the early years, the use of humans and paper work in tracking distribution of goods was a norm but there was a gap in the chain process. The manual method or intervention is labour intensive, costly, and error prone and cannot ensure the inventory remains up-to-date due to oversight and internal shrinkage.
