Abstract
In this study of designing a wind turbine using wind energy potential, a case of FUTA. Weibull distribution function method was adopt with the help of probability density function and cumulative density function analysis, the wind speed characteristics and energy potential of the study area was investigated using hourly wind speed data that span between 1 and 12 months (1year) and measured at a height of 10 m.
