ABSTRACT The over-riding aim of this research work is to examine the security threat in Nigeria, a case study of Nyaya and Jikwoyi communities in Abuja Municipal Area Council. To effectively carry out this research, data was collected in form of questionnaire from respondents who lives in Nyaya and Jikwoyi communities.
