: A CASE STUDY OF SOME SELECTED SECONDARY SCHOOLS IN OREDO LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA OF EDO STATE ABSTRACT The purpose of this research work is to find out the causes and effect of examination malpractice in secondary school, using some selected Secondary Schools in Oredo Local Government Area as a case study. A total of 70 students and 40 teachers were used on this study. The instrument used for collection of data from them as the questionnaire and records of students who have been punished either by expulsion or warning their class.
