An Investigative Study On The Attitude Of School Adolescent Students Towards Genital Mutilation (a Case Study Of Eket Lga Akw Ibom State)

ABSTRACT The main focus of this study was to find out the attitude of in-school adolescents in Eket Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria towards female genital mutilation. In order to achieve this goal a research questionnaire on the attitude of in-school adolescent were distributed in the area. The data thus obtained were analyzed using simple percentage, t-test and analysis of variance (ANOVA). Based on the findings, the following recommendations were made.
