 ABSTRACTThe purpose of this research work is to find out the effects of parents backgrounds on the student’s academic performance as it explains beyond every reasonable doubt, the reasons behind poor performance of children from poor homes and brilliant performance of students from average and above average homes.However, the data generated were analyzed using simple percentage.
