This paper is an exposition on the plight of refugees and displaced
persons in Nigeria and the impact which their plight has had on the
society. The research contends that displaced persons are victims of
various kinds of injustices, confrontations, perpetrated by either the
government against them or by other means like communal clashes, riots,
