ABSTRACT The purpose of the study was to investigate the assistance parents give to their children in their homework and other school related activities, the role of parent’s educational background and their socioeconomic status on their children’s education in the Ejisu-Juaben Municipal Assembly with a view of recommending on how to improve children’s academic life. The study adopted a descriptive survey design which was to answer the research questions of the study.
