Abstract
The objective of this study was to find out the impact of doing teaching practice and receiving lectures on student teacher's academic performance in UNILAG, Nigeria. The relative impact of each of the two independent variables on the dependent was also investigated. A survey design was adopted and the study sample consisted of 21 graduating student teachers and 14 education graduates selected across all departments in faculty of education, UNILAG using random sampling techniques.
