ABSTRACTThe main focus of this research work is on the effect of poor parenting on children and their education in Egor Local Government Area of Edo State. And it was found that the level of education of parents, their socio-economic status, their relationship with their children, the structure of the home a child grows in have either negative or positive influence on the children’s life and academic performance.
