ABSTRACT  The study was conducted in Bulegeni Sub-county which is located 35 Kilometers from the Eastern town of Mbale Uganda. This study was conducted between the month of May and September 2012. The main objective of the study was to find out, the socio- economic factors influencing low access to sanitation facilities at different household level.
