ABSTRACT

This
study examined the cause and remedies of poor maintenance of public building in
Enugu Urban. The study embarked on physical inspection of some public
buildings, identified defect in the buildings, determined the cause of the
defect and proffered remedies for them. Data for the study were collected
through well – structured questionnaire administered to building industry
professionals. Data collected were analyzed using frequency distribution table
