ABSTRACT  The prime objective of this study is to examine the trend, pattern, sprawl as wellas socio-environmental implications of land use dynamics in dormitory towns of Tai-solarin university of Education (Tasued), Ijagun, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, Nigeria.The study employed the use of GIS to explore the dynamics of land use in the dormitory communities of TAI-SOLARIN UNIVERSITY OF EDUCATION namely: Ijagun, Ijele, Abapawa, Imaweje, and Ogbo herein referred to as larger Ijagun.
