Utilisation Of Internet By Students Of The Faculty Of Technical Education At The University Of Education, Winneba, Kumasi Campus

ABSTRACTIn this research, majority of the students use mobile phones (smart phones)/laptops thus 55(40.44%) with 53(38.97%) using their smart phones as the main device for accessing the internet. The respondents also confirmed the internet has helped significantly improved their academic work or studies generally with all 136(100%) saying yes to the question with 131 students using the internet on a daily basis. 63 and 32 of the students spend averagely 1-5hours and 6-10hours on the net per day respectively. 31(22.8%) of the students use the internet purposely for studying, information gatheri…
