Abstract
ABSTRACT Syllabification is the process of segmenting a word into syllables. This research work investigated syllabification in the Ekid language, syllable structures and the phonotactic constraints that govern the distribution of segments in syllable initial, medial and final position. The research methodology employed was descriptive research method.
