Abstract
This study investigated the influence of newspaper reports on terrorism in Nigeria: content analysis of punch and guardian newspapers from January to June 2018. The study employed the agenda setting theory and the social responsibility theory of communication as the theoretical framework for the study. The content analysis research design was adopted with the aid of a 3-content categories coding sheet.
