Abstract
ABSTRACT Acute abdomen might indicate a progressive intra-abdominal condition that is threatening to life or capable of causing severe morbidity. A good history, thorough clinical examination, laboratory investigations and imaging studies are necessary in order to arrive at a correct diagnosis.
