Assessment Of Awareness Of The Causes Of Maternal Mortality Among Women In Reproductive Age In Bushenyi - Ishaka Municipality

ABSTRACT The study was carried out in Bushenyi-Ishaka municipality. The purpose of this study was to identify factors which influence mother’s choice of delivery site. The respondents were mothers between the ages of 15-49 years with sane minds. There were 100 mothers in the quantitative data. The research showed that among the women that had delivered before most of them 80% were aware of the common causes of maternal mortality and 30% of those that had never delivered knew the causes of maternal mortality.
