ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to assess the knowledge and practice for prevention of puerperal sepsis among traditional birth attendants in Calabar South Local Government Area of Cross River State, Nigeria. Three research objectives and their corresponding research questions were formulated to guide the study. Descriptive design was used for the study. The accessible population was 120 TBAs.
