ABSTRACTThe seeds of a tropical fruit Carica papaya have been proven to have anthelminthic activity. The main component in the seeds responsible for this activity is Benzyl isothiocyanate. It is effective against parasites such Ascaris lumbricoides, Strongyloides stercoralis, Taenia saginata and so on.
