Ground Water Detection Using Electrical Resistivity Method At Taraurni Local Government Of Kano State

ABSTRACTThis project is about the geophysical method with special emphasis on the use of resistivity method for groundwater exploration. the project was conducted at tarauni local government area of kano state. ABEM SAS 300C terramiter was used, electrodes, cables, reels of wire,and hammer are also used. the study area was generally underline by three (3) to four (4) geoelectrical/geological layer. the lateric soil has resistivity of 212 ohms-meter with thicness of 1.6 meter and depth of 1.6 meter, sandy clay has resistivity value of 119 ohm-meter with thickness of 6 meter and depth of 7.5 met…
