ABSTRACT This study investigated the causes and consequences of mass failure of students in mathematics in senior secondary schools in Gwagwalada Area Council of FCT, Abuja. The study adopted a simple survey research design. Study population comprised all the senior secondary schools in Gwagwalada Area Council. A sample of four (4) schools was drawn from the population through the process of simple random sampling technique. An inventory schedule was the instrument used for data collection.
