Abstract
This study examines privatization as effective and efficient tool for economic development in Nigeria; a study of Power Holding Company of Nigeria. It adopted a survey design to elicit data. 100 PHCN staff in the selected case study was used as sample using scientific sampling technique. Questionnaires were used as the instrument for data collection and the collected data were statistically analyzed with simple percentage and Chi - Square statistical tool.
