ABSTRACT This research work is focused on the gender perception of sexually transmitted disease (STDs): using Awkunanaw community of Enugu South Local Government Area as area of study. This study is a humble attempt towards improving and understanding the perception of male and female towards sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). The population of the study was about sixteen thousand three hundred and sixty-six (16366).
