The Role Of Community Based Organisations In Community Development In Anambra State (a Case Study Of Njikoka L. G. A.)

ABSTRACT This research work was carried out in order to find out the roles played by community based organisations (CBOs) in community development.  The efforts the CBOs are making towards development and hindrances, obstacles they encounter to develop their communities.  The study was based on a survey of 170 respondents through the use of multi-stage sampling technique.  The instrument used for data collection was the questionnaire.  Five stated research questions was used to guide the study.  The research findings were analyzed using frequency tables and percentages.
