The study was conducted for distribution of total and exchangeable K from different cropping system, yam farm, fallow land and eucalyptus plantation, the sample was collected from the teaching and research farm of the Federal University of Technology at the depth of 0-15cm on the soil surface. The soil samples were collected from nine points along three random sites, the soil where then bulked together.
